Terms and Conditions of Use of the OranoBox Platform
The purpose of these terms and conditions of use (hereinafter the “Terms and Conditions of Use”) is to set out the rules governing use of the “OranoBox” platform (hereinafter “the Platform”) specially developed and published by the Orano Group and hosted by the company ALTITUDE.
By installing the Platform on your device and/or by accessing the Platform, as a visitor and/or user, you unconditionally and unreservedly accept all the Terms and Conditions of Use stipulated below. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use, we would ask you not to access the Platform.
Any visit to and/or use of the Platform shall be in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Use.
Words with an initial capital in these Terms and Conditions of Use, whether used in the singular or in the plural, will have the meaning assigned to them below:
“Platform” means the “OranoBox” website published by the Orano Group and hosted by the company ALTITUDE, providing access to the Services and accessible via the internet from a PC, tablet or smartphone, after registering for a special OranoBox account in order to access the Platform. The Platform also includes the Content, software, programs, tools (planning, browsing, etc.), databases, operating systems, documentation and any other elements and services that comprise it, together with updates and new versions that the Orano Group may issue for the Platform.
“Content” includes, but is not limited to, the structure of the Platform, editorial content, drawings, illustrations, images, photographs, graphics, trademarks, logos, acronyms, corporate names, audiovisual works, multimedia works, visual content, audio and sound content, and any other content present within the Platform and/or any other component of the Platform.
“Services” means the various features and services offered by the Platform.

The purpose of the Platform is to give you access to information on the solutions offered by the Orano Group in relation to Management of Nuclear Materials and Waste (“the Solutions”).

This list of Services is not exhaustive and is for illustrative purposes only. It may be updated at any time by the Orano Group without incurring any civil or criminal liability in that respect.
To access the Platform, you will need a PC, tablet or smartphone, as well as internet access.
The Platform is accessible to any User who has registered for an account and has been sent personal login codes. Access is free of charge and is possible from different types of devices, such as a PC, tablet or smartphone.
The Platform works best with the following browsers: Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari. The Platform may also be supported by other browsers: the relevant information is available on request from the administrator via the “Contact us” feature on the homepage and on several other pages of the Platform once you have logged in.
The software version of the Platform may be updated regularly to add new features and Services.
The Platform is available free of charge to Users, excluding the fees charged by your internet service provider or telephone provider, internet connection and access costs, and any additional fees for downloading data charged by your service provider when logging in and using the platform outside a Wi-Fi network.
The Terms and Conditions of Use apply to all Users of the Platform and associated Services.
On each visit, Users should carefully read the Terms and Conditions of Use, which can be found on the Platform. The Orano Group may vary the Terms and Conditions of Use at any time and without notice.
Since the OranoBox Platform has been specially developed and published for and by the Orano Group, the Orano Group owns all intellectual property rights in the Platform.
The Content and all of its components are likewise deemed to be the intellectual property of the Orano Group.
Without prejudice to the provisions contained in this section, no provision of the Terms and Conditions of Use may be construed as an assignment, transfer, sale, concession, license, loan, lease or operating permit granted directly or indirectly by the Orano Group to Users of the Platform, its Content and/or the Services.
The Orano Group grants each User a personal license to use the Platform, the Content and the Services, free of charge and on a non-exclusive, non-assignable and non-transferable basis, in order to access the online catalog of Orano Group Solutions. Said access includes the option of supplementing the online description of a solution in the catalog by sending questions directly to the Orano Group experts in charge of the selected Solution via the OranoBox platform.
The Orano Group may revoke said license unilaterally and without notice in the event of misuse by the User.
For Orano Users, said license is linked, as the case may be:
- to the employment contract or internship agreement between the User and an Orano Group company,
- to the temporary employment contract for a User working for an Orano Group company,
- to the service agreement between the User’s employer and an Orano Group company.
For Non-Orano Users, employees of client companies or prospects, national or international organizations or Orano Group partners, said license is linked to the Orano Group’s recognition of the User’s interest in accessing the Platform, as evidenced by the personal access granted by setting up a user account and issuing a login in accordance with section 3.
The User has no intellectual property rights in the Platform, the Content and/or the Services, or any rights other than those conferred hereunder.
As such, the User is strictly prohibited from:
The User expressly agrees that his or her use of the Platform will in no way infringe the rights of the Orano Group.

The Orano Group is the data controller of the Platform.
Details of the purposes, types of data collected, hosting, applicable legal framework, employees’ rights, duration of data retention, cookie policy and recipients of data from the Orano Box Platform can be found in the OranoBox privacy notice.
All technical and organizational measures shall be put in place to preserve the confidentiality and security of personal data and in particular to protect them from unlawful or accidental destruction and access by unauthorized third parties.
You also have a right of access, query, portability, rectification, objection on legitimate grounds, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent and erasure with regard to your data. You can exercise these rights by contacting the Orano Group Data Protection Officer (dpo@orano.group/ +33 1 34 96 07 28).
Orano agrees to use its best efforts to provide secure access to and consultation and use of the Platform’s Services. The Platform is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except in the event of force majeure or the occurrence of an event beyond Orano’s control and subject to any malfunction or maintenance work required for the Platform's smooth functioning.
Users will be notified beforehand of any scheduled or unscheduled maintenance following an incident that prevents or affects access to or use of the Platform.
Users access and use the Platform at their own risk.
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” with no warranty of any kind.
Each User is responsible for taking all appropriate measures to protect his or her data and/or the software stored on his or her computer and telephone equipment from any attack.
The User represents that he or she is aware of and accepts the characteristics and limitations of the internet and, in particular, the functional characteristics and technical performance of the internet; issues relating to connection and/or access to the internet and/or websites; issues relating to network availability and congestion; issues relating to network failure or overload; issues relating to connection speeds, access to information posted online, and response times for displaying, browsing, querying or transferring data; risks of service interruption; the lack of protection of some data against possible misuse or hacking; risks of being infected with a virus from said networks, etc., for which Orano cannot be held liable.
The Orano Group cannot be held liable:
Furthermore, the Orano Group accepts no liability in the event of misuse of the device and/or an incident linked to the use of the device while using the Platform. Under no circumstances may the Orano Group be held liable for any damage of any kind whatsoever caused to Users, their devices, their IT and telephone equipment, or the data stored therein, nor for any consequences this might have on their personal or professional life or on their business.
The applicable Terms and Conditions of Use are those in effect on the date on which the User connects to and uses the Platform.
The Orano Group reserves the right to modify, at any time, the provisions of the Terms and Conditions of Use, in whole or in part, without notice or prior notification to Users, in order to adapt them to Service upgrades, technical, legal or case-law developments, or the launch of new services.
Users will be informed of any changes that the Orano Group makes to the Terms and Conditions of Use by posting them online (pop-up notification). The changes will be deemed to be unreservedly accepted by any User who subsequently accesses the Platform. Orano asks all Users to refer frequently to the Terms and Conditions of Use.
Any new Service incorporating new techniques or features that improve the quality of the existing Services will also be subject to these Terms and Conditions of Use, unless expressly stated otherwise.
For Orano Users, the right to use the Platform granted under these Terms and Conditions of Use is based on the agreement between the User and the Orano Group referred to in section 8. The termination of said agreement entails the automatic loss of the right to use the Platform, as notified to the User by the Orano Group.
For Non-Orano Users, the right to use the Platform granted under these Terms and Conditions of Use is based on a decision by the Orano Group to grant access to the Platform. You could forfeit this right to use the Platform in the event of usage contrary to these Terms and Conditions of Use, or following a unilateral decision by the Orano Group if you no longer qualify as a Non-Orano User, as notified to you by the Orano Group.
The Orano Group is also entitled to terminate access in the event of unlawful use of the Platform.

These Terms and Conditions of Use are governed by French law.
Any dispute arising in connection with the performance or interpretation of these Terms and Conditions of Use that cannot be settled amicably between the parties will be submitted to the competent court in the appellate district in which Orano’s registered office is located.
